Howard Paley

Howard Paley – published landscape photographer. This Long Island transplant transferred from Hofstra New College to the University of Arizona in 1975 where he studied Range Management and received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. As an intern, Howard moved to St. George, Utah to work for the Bureau of Land Management on the Arizona Strip. He was captivated by the rugged landscapes and canyons of the Colorado Plateau and by the antiquities of the Old West. This is where his passion for photography blossomed. Paley says, “the camera helps me focus and see the world in a new light.”
